Waitlist edition · July 2026 · v0.1 (draft - for solicitor review before launch)

Who we are. Offskies is a gap-year planning tool operated in the UK. Contact: georgeharris2804@gmail.com.

What we collect right now. Just your email address and whether you’re a school leaver or a parent. That’s the lot - no tracking cookies, no profiles. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-less analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) to count visits and signups anonymously; nothing is stored on your device.

What we use it for. Telling you when Offskies launches, occasional updates about the product, and (if you opt in later) early-access invitations. Lawful basis: consent, which you gave when you ticked the box.

Who it’s shared with. Our infrastructure providers (hosting and database) under standard data-processing terms. Never sold, never given to advertisers.

How long we keep it. Until launch plus 12 months, or until you unsubscribe - whichever comes first.

Age. The waitlist is for people 18 or over, or parents/guardians. If you’re under 18, ask a parent or guardian to sign up instead. If we learn we hold a child’s data on the waitlist, we’ll delete it.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted at any time - email georgeharris2804@gmail.com. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
