This policy explains your right to cancel and get a refund when you buy a plan from Offskies. It forms part of our Terms of Service and doesn’t affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
Your 14-day cooling-off right. Because you buy online, UK law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) normally gives you 14 days from the day you buy to change your mind and cancel for a full refund, without giving a reason.
How digital access affects this. Offskies gives you access to digital planning tools straight away. When you buy, you’ll be asked to agree that we can start giving you access during the 14-day period. Because of how the law treats digital services and content:
· If you haven’t started using the paid features yet, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
· If you’ve started using them, you can still cancel within 14 days, and we’ll refund you a fair, proportionate amount for the part of the period you haven’t used. If the plan is a one-off unlock of digital content that you asked to access immediately and acknowledged you’d lose the cancellation right, the refund may not apply once access has begun.
After the 14 days. Once the cooling-off period has passed, paid plans are generally non-refundable for the current billing period, except where you have a right to a refund under consumer law (for example, if the Service is faulty or not as described).
Cancelling a recurring plan. If your plan renews automatically, you can cancel future renewals at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next payment; your access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We don’t charge a cancellation fee.
If something’s wrong. If the Service is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill, you’re entitled to a repair, a fix, or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Tell us what went wrong and we’ll put it right.
How to cancel or ask for a refund. Email hello@offskies.co.uk from the address on your account, telling us you’d like to cancel or request a refund. You can do this within the 14 days by any clear statement; a short email is fine. We’ll confirm and, where a refund is due, process it within 14 days using the same payment method you paid with (through Stripe). You won’t pay a fee for the refund itself.
Free waitlist and free features. Joining the waitlist or using free features costs nothing, so there’s nothing to refund. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details at any time (see our Privacy notice).
